I actually did this as an experiment for 90 days-- one thing that scared me every day. By the end of it you equate fear with pain, sort of like stubbing your toe or something. You can equate that you will get x amount of pain from doing something and don't hesitate. The first thing I did was pick up a cigarette off a stranger who threw it on the ground right in front of a rubbish bin. That was Day 1. Day 90 I went skydiving or bungee jumping. I think bungee jumping was on Day 90 and skydiving was on Day 85 or something. But I was so calm during the bungee jump after having done stupid shit for 90 days it was amazing. Same for skydiving. Picking up a cigarette off the ground from a stranger right in front of him was WAY harder at the start.
